Equipping the Saints
The Apostle Paul spelled out the responsibility of the leaders of God's Church in Ephesians 4:11-12 when he wrote: "And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ."
As Pastors, we long for a church body that is healthy and fully functioning: A body grounded in truth, passionately worshipping and bearing an unmistakable witness to all of their neighbors, allowing them to see the one true God in everyday life.
Church Venture Northwest and Western Seminary would like to partner with you in helping to equip your saints "for the work of ministry". Time is precious, and the work of pastoring and shepherding any flock is filled with teaching, care, crisis management, and chaotic interruptions. Equipping the Saints is designed to help you provide strong theological education and training to disciples in your local church.
Aimed at the believer who is desirous of more, this program will energize and activate them with skills and knowledge to engage a culture in need of Jesus. It is also designed to challenge disciples to make disciples and utilize what God has given them to benefit your church.
