On this page you will find our Church Venture Northwest Identity Document and information that outlines the process of affiliation. The Identity Document sets forth the doctrine, polity and philosophy of ministry statements that are the foundation for the covenant community of Church Venture Northwest churches. Agreement with the Identity Document is the cornerstone of affiliation with Church Venture Northwest.
Using the documents provided, a church must apply in writing to the Procedures Committee of the Association, expressing agreement with the Identity Document and confirming approval of the request for membership by an official decision of the church.
Churches wishing to apply should download and fill out the following documents and follow the instructions in "The Affiliation Process" document. Applications for membership must be received at least ninety days before the Annual Meeting is held in order to be recognized and acted upon at that time.

When satisfied that the applying church is in agreement with the Identity Document the Procedures Committee will present the application for review by the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees, upon securing a majority approving vote, shall recommend the church for admission at the Annual Meeting.
At the Annual Meeting, held in March of each year, messengers of the applying church will be introduced and welcomed into membership. Applying churches are received by a three-fourths vote of the voting messengers present.
